Within the historic central Anatolian city of Konya, the masjid of the Bezirci quarter in the Ulubatli Hasan neighbourhood offers a quiet place of devotion in a district whose name recalls a young Ottoman soldier remembered for his heroism during the siege of Constantinople in 1453.
